The Albany County Chapter
has limited funds available to distribute for grants/projects which
enhance the role of family physicians in the community.
To obtain a grant:
- All requests must be written, and submitted to a member of the
executive committee (President, V.P., Secretary, Treasure,
Past-President) of the Albany County Chapter.
- All requests must be from members of the NYSAFP- Student,
Resident, Active, and Retired, Capital Region Chapters.
- Most funds are distributed in two halves.
- A written report must be submitted to get the second half of the
grant, and after the second disbursement has been spent
- The report must detail how the grant has been spent, and how the
objectives of the project where completed.
- The committee reserves the right not to disburse all the inital
granted funds for any reason.
Some of the things we have awarded grants for are:
- Dr. Paeglow's clinic
- Equipment for the St. Claires Residency Clinic
- Medical student/Resident support at the Albany Medical
College/Center
- Supporting the former Carver Clinic in Schenectady
- Supporting purchasing of equipment for the City Mission Clinic in
Albany
We look forward to your proposals!!!!
